The Perfect Bra?
There is no perfect bra, because no two women are alike. Just like the shoes in your closet, your lingerie drawer should reflect your lifestyle, needs and shape. You wouldn’t wear running shoes to a wedding or stilettos to go jogging. The same applies to bras. You wear a sports bra when you need better support and an elegant bra for a night on the town. Whether, dainty, daring, supportive or sporty, you need the right style to suit your shape and size. Yes, size counts too! Women with bigger breasts need more support, either from underwire or elastic reinforcements. Small-breasted women also need support, but definition is even more important to highlight their contours. When you want to go for glamour, push-up, demi-cup, strapless and convertible (backless, crisscross, halter) bras are perfect. When you feel sporty or casual, go for a sports, soft cup, seamless or contour bra. Plunging bras, with lots of lace, sheer fabric and bows are perfect for the bedroom or the boardroom. After all, you’re the only one who knows what’s underneath your clothes!
Bra Basics
One thing’s for sure, though. Regardless of the type of bra you wear, having the right fit and proper adjustment will make all the difference in the world. What really count are band size (as in 32, 34, 36 or 38) and cup size (A, B, C, D). The two measurements are interrelated, because cup size increases with larger band sizes. For example, a 32B will always be a 32, but the B cup size will increase as the band size increases, so the cup size of a 36B bra would be larger.
How do you know what’s right for you?
If your band size is too small, your bra will feel tight and flesh will overflow on the sides. If your band size is too large, your bra will ride up your back and provide no support at all. You know that your cup size is too small when your breasts spill over the top and sides of your bra or if the underwire pokes into breast tissue. Straps should be tight enough to hold your bra in place, but not so tight that they cut into your skin. The rule of thumb-so to speak-is that you should be able to fit two fingers snugly under the top of the strap. Of course, you don’t want the straps to be so loose that they fall down. The band should be snug and fit evenly around the rib cage. Good posture is an excellent figure enhancer…and it’s free! Remember to hold your shoulders back and stand tall. Go ahead…say goodbye to droopiness, overflowing cups and straps that are too tight. Say hello to the new and confident you!

I have used Wonderbra for over 30 yrs…have tried others but some are still sitting in my dresser drawer….Wonderbra is the most comfortable and in my mind the best out there

the model 1907 was discontinued but i’m sure you could find another model that will fit you just like a glove. You can start by going to a store (Sears and The Bay) and get fitted by a professional, they are there just for you, that way you will be sure to have a bra that fits just right.

While shopping for bras recently I was told that my favorite style was no longer available. The clerk recommended I try style #2620. After a quick fitting, I purchased one in skin tone and one in black. This bra is so comfortable it is now my go bra for eveything and I have gone back and purchased two more! I do hope you keep this style around for a few more years. Thank you for making the most comfortable and affordable bras on the market!

I need help with sizing! I measure 23.5 inches under my bustline, and 38.5 across the fullest part.
Am I reading your chart correctly? Am I really “off the charts?” My measurements are definitely correct, and I was NOT measuring over clothing! (And no, I haven’t had “work” done to them!)

from 16 to 40 yrs.old i have always worn 7918 the best and sexiest bra in the world. what a shock to realize you stop at size 38. why not make a push up bra for older women that are still feeling sexy.we feel less sexy when we look at bras in stores and all the beautiful colorful bras are made for younger women.lift our moral and our beautiful breasts with a model 7918. please consider making them also 40-42 sizes. we want to push up our girls also.

A special thank you to the Rep who services London, Ontario, Canada! If it weren’t for her, I would still be wandering around aimlessly! After 3 days of roaming lingerie stores and dept. stores looking for bras (I would be ashamed to show you the one I was wearing!!), she came to my rescue. I was on my way out of the store when she passed by and said “is there anything I can help you with?”. She must have seen the look of despair on my face! Why don’t you have many options for petite women who wear size 32A? There only seems to be one bra in this size that isn’t a mastectomy bra, and it only comes in white. Smaller women also want padded push ups and choice of color. Will you be expanding your size range in the future so we have more options?

i am a loyal customer to wonderbra however no matter where i go i can’t find a floral or colored nice bra for my size. i love the smaller bra’s for smaller woman the cute stripes and what not but they dont really have anything good for my size, 42ddd

I found a bra that i really love, it was out in 2009 around xmas time and I remember it was a special anniversary bra. The model no was 1939. Is it sold in any stores now? It was the most comfortable bra I ever wore.

I have been a wonderbra customer for many years. The last style I tried was 3384. I take a 34D. I cannot find this style anywhere now. I am in bad need for some new bras. Since I couldn’t find the 3384, I have tried a couple of others and I do not like them. I can’t stand wearing the underwire and the 3384 is the best. Will this one be coming back on the market or do you know of someplace I can order it from? 34 D is one of the hardest sizes to find.

I really, really loved the “Pearl” model – I believe it was 7579. I started out with 36D, then 36DD then 38D. (Depending on those things that pull the straps closer together at the back sometimes). I know they’ve been gone for awhile – I found some at a liquidation-type store last year. My local Sears sales lady wears this model too! We’ve tried other ones, just can’t beat the fit of this model. Any chance that you’ll bring them back? This particular bra just makes my “girls” look incredible.
