More than 3,250 women entered our Spring into Comfort contest that ran from May 3 to 31. We would like to thank you for your enthusiasm, and also congratulate the 28 lucky winners of a No Poke bra ($45 value), one of our most comfortable styles ever!
Our survey respondents took comfort to bed
Many fans of our comfortable No Poke bra were also kind enough to participate in our little in-house survey. The question in question? “What words do you most associate with comfort?” The results were very tight. Of course! How can you choose between the varied pleasures of hot chocolate, a pillow or a hot bath? But when we took the covers off the final results, the winner was perhaps the most obvious: the bed. Where we rest, recover, hide away from the world or indulge in our favourite guilty pleasure: sleeping in late. But showing that cleanliness is next to godliness but perhaps even closer to comfort, the appeal of a hot bath came in second. And the results were certainly not manipulated when a massage ran a very close third. From the write-in category, pajamas were a clear winner (we’d go for the flannel kind). The best of all possible worlds? Get a massage, plunge into a hot bath, slip into your pajamas, then make a beeline for your bed. Oh yes!
After incredible success in the last two years, 107.3 RockDétente is back at it with another edition of its bold and beautiful fundraiser! This year’s goal: surpass last year’s tally and raise more than $148,000. Once again this year, Wonderbra will donate $1 to the Foundation for each bra donated.
The bra drive will kick off on Friday, April 30, from 5:30 to 8:30 a.m. That day, the station’s morning show, Tout l’monde debout, will be broadcast live from outside RockDétente’s studios (1717 René-Lévesque Blvd. East, in Montreal), where hosts André Robitaille, Sylvie Lauzon and Isabelle Lacasse will be ready to receive bra donations. At the same time, other RockDétente staffers will be running two more collection points: one at the Cosmodôme in Laval and the other at the Place Jacques-Cartier Tim Horton’s in Longueuil. For more details about collection points, visit www.rockdetente.com/osez
The 11 Bay stores in the greater Montreal area are also participating in the event this year, setting up collection points for the duration of the drive. During store hours, listeners will be able to donate a bra at any of the following Bay stores: Downtown (585 Ste-Catherine West), Centre Le Boulevard, Les Jardins Dorval, Centre Rockland, Fairview Pointe-Claire, Galeries d’Anjou, Champlain Mall, Promenades Saint-Bruno, Carrefour Laval, Centre Laval and Place Rosemère. Drop off starts April 29 until May 24 2010. The bins will be placed in the intimates department for customers to make their bra donation.
Launched in 2008, the bra drive raised $80,000 in its first year. Last year, the generosity of RockDétente listeners and Wonderbra helped increase the funds raised to $148,000, an unprecedented feat! Will the record be shattered once again?
Celebrate spring with WonderBra’s Spring into Comfort Contest for your chance to win a No Poke bra (a $45 value) from our most comfortable collection ever – guaranteed. There will be one lucky winner daily from May 3 – 31.
Take a moment to fill out our short survey, on how would you best describe comfort in your life? Now that’s a comforting thought.
Thank you for participating in such large numbers in the “Win $10,000 Cash from WonderBra Contest,” which closed on November 13.
Results from our contest survey question “What would you do with $10,000?” were interesting. Of course, the weather may have something to do with it… With winter around the corner, people obviously had visions of beaches and palm trees dancing in their heads! The largest group (27.52%) of respondents said they would use $10,000 to “go on a vacation.” Note that the survey didn’t ask with whom you would take your vacation. We left that to your imagination… The first group of would-be-vacationers was closely followed by those who would “go on a shopping spree!” (27.29%). Third place went to “renovate my home” at 18.35%.
In addition to the $10,000 cash prize, one WonderBra bra of the winner’s choice was drawn per day for 15 days.
The $10,000 cash prize winner is Bonnie Whitelock from Grande Prairie, Alberta. Click here to view the complete list of winners.
