The Women of Promise campaign has just been launched on Facebook!

A simply and effective way of contributing to the fight against breast cancer, of reminding yourself of the importance being attentive to breast health, of reducing risks, and passing the word along to all the women you care about. Just visit the Facebook page and you can make the promise too!

In an effort to pay tribute to the most important woman in our life on the very day of their international celebration, the Hanesbrands Inc. team honours Women on Mother’s Day. They has invited journalists, each accompanied by a cherished woman in their lives, to a special event this May 5th, 2011 at the Richmond (477 Richmond Street West) in Toronto.

During this cocktail reception, not only  women everywhere were celebrated, but also the Spring-Summer 2011 and Fall-Winter 2011-2012 collections of Bali, Champion, Dim, Hanes, Playtex, and WonderBra has been revealed. In an intimately chic atmosphere, guests enjoyed discovering the new styles displayed across thematic closets while delighting in the feminine cocktails and sophisticated hors d’oeuvres.

Brands for modern women
Mother’s Day is celebrated around the world every year. A symbol of appreciation, admiration, femininity and above all, endless love, Mother’s Day has become a significant holiday internationally. For many years now, the entire Hanesbrands group has been working to improve the everyday lives of modern women, be it at work, at home, or during athletic activities, by offering collections that are adapted to modern women according to their needs and shape.  It isn’t surprising that Hanesbrands Inc. has chosen this important day to unveil its brands’ Spring-Summer collections and to exclusively preview its Fall-Winter 2011-2012 styles that add a touch of comfort and femininity to the lives of women, as they have done year after year after year!

As a tribute to women and their accomplishments, WonderBra launched their 2011 Spring/Summer Undergarments Collection on International Women’s Day. The event took place in Montreal on March 8, 2011 in the company of journalists graced by an intimate and stylish atmosphere. For the occasion, those present were invited to attend with the “women of their lives”: mothers, sisters and best friends all had their place. Renowned stylist and fashion and beauty journalist Louise Labrecque, the official host of the event, came accompanied by her daughter and her aunt. Three generations of splendid women. What a wonderful way to celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day!

The undergarments in the new 2011 Spring/Summer Collection are inspired by the latest trends while still respecting the chic and eternal allure of the classics: lace, bright colours, honeysuckle rose and leopard prints. The neutrals also have a place of honour as they are anything but banal! Fashion enhancements include lace and a host of tiny feminine details.

For many years now, WonderBra has dedicated itself to improving the daily lives of women by creating new undergarments collections adapted to every need, body type and age.
